Ronnie was interviewed by Hector Nunns, certainly one of the best and most honnest sports journalists. Hector has been supporting snooker as a sport for years, and he’s not one who would distort players quotes to create controversy either. He shared this on his twitter today.

Enjoy!
In the interview Ronnie says that he has lost six years „where he wasn’t really dedicated”
Do you know, Monique, which years he means?
I think it’s basically those years between 1995 and 2001. He was really in a bad shape mentally at the time. But he also had a very bad time when his relationship with Joe Langley deteriorated. He was at his wits end coming into the 2011 World Championship. He hadn’t won a match since end November. That’s when he eventually accepted to see Steve Peters, something his then manager, Django Fung, had encouraged him to do for some time.
