Although the complete line-up isn’t know yet – results in the Gibraltar Open might still change the one year list top 16 – Worldsnooker has today confirmed Ronnie’s participation in the event:

The Ladbrokes Players Championship takes place in Llandudno from March 6 to 12 and Ronnie O’Sullivan will be in action on the opening night.
The first session of the tournament at Venue Cymru in North Wales will be at 7pm on Monday March 6th.
The tournament field will be the top 16 on the one-year ranking list after the Jojobet.com Gibraltar Open.
The full draw and format for the event will be released when available.

I really do hope he wins this tournament. What a time it’d be to get a major ranking title under your belt, just weeks shy of WSC2017. Here’s to hoping!
I also do hope he has a good tournament, it would boost his confidence. O know it is hard to understand for some people but despite his career and records, Ronnie remains an anxious person, prone to doubts.
If you want to beat the best players in major tournaments you need to keep your concentration on all times to have any chance of winning any silverware in major ranking tournaments again. You need to practise more in the practice room so you have a good chance of winning tournaments. All you need to do is stop moaning that you can’t go all the way in major ranking tournaments.
