Shanghai Masters 2016 – Draws

Worldsnooker has published the draw and format of the Shanghai Masters qualifying rounds as well as the draw of the final stages.

The qualifying rounds, still played in a tiered structure, run from August 30 to September 2 at the Barnsley Metrodome. The 16 winners then play in the final stages in Shanghai in September. The final stages will take place from 19 to 25 September.

Ronnie has entered the event, and should he win his first match is likely to face Kyren Wilson, the defending champion. Should this happen, it’s a tricky but tasty match in prospect. However, if the draw works as it did before, both Ronnie and Kyren are set to play a difficult opener: Kyren could meet the in-form Michael Holt, and Ronnie  could face the dangerous Liang Wenbo.

However, “the quarter of death” is in the other half of the draw, featuring Mark Selby, Joe Perry, Mark Williams and Neil Robertson  !!!
